An area of over 10 square miles, and a population of nearly 50,000 people, around 10 responders, and over 50 public access defibrillators.
To the west and north, we border the South Central Ambulance Service area of operations, and their co-responder schemes in Hartley Wintney and RAF Odiham. To the east, the Rushmoor & Surrey Heath CFR Scheme operate, and in the southeast, the Farnham scheme take over at the Surrey border.
Although our area is large, responders are all issued with their own equipment, so that many of us can be available at the same time. This means that we often attend different incidents simultaneously, treating more patients before the ambulance arrives.
